Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Water may be used to cool containers involved with fire. Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Poses no unusual fire or explosive hazards. Reactivity Data Stability: This is a totally stable compound Incompatibility (materials to avoid): This material is totally compatible with most liquid and will neutralize most acids. Hazardous Decomposition or Byproducts: Unknown; It is not combustible. Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur. Materials to avoid: Prolonged inhalation of the dust from this product; only over a period of years. Biological Compatibility: The material composition of Guerite is in itself not conducive for microbial growth. In as far as fungal spores will generally germinate in any moist environment, even where growth cannot be sustained, the desiccant should be inspected, dried, and/or replaced periodically. The holding net, a nylon material, should hold up well against microbial attack. Health Hazard and First Aid Data Eye Contact: Irritation may occur in some humans if splashed into the eye. Flush with water, as one would do with regular soap and water. Skin Contact: If exposed to sensitive skin area for a prolonged period of time, a drying sensation may occur. Simply rinse with soap and water and apply hand cream. Ingestion: Ingestion of concentrate is not recommended, but no special precautions are needed if small amounts are consumed. Drink water to get rid of the taste. Inhalation: No health effects are known to occur from inhalation of this material under normal use. Prolonged exposure to the dust from this product could cause fibrosis of the lung. Spill, Leak and Disposal Procedures Spill Response: Area will not become slippery; flush with water to dilute. Spilled product may be disposed of down any drain. Product Disposal: May be flushed in any sewer drain for disposal or buried in the ground. This is a raw, natural product. Container Disposal: Rinse used containers with water and recycle. Control Measures No precautionary measures are needed. Any normal ventilation is adequate. Eye protection is not necessary, but is suggested around concentrate, gloves are not necessary. Wear inhalator if dust is heavy or prolonged.
